As Heard on Facebook: Rumblings from the rightwing & Zionist blogosphere

Editors’ Note: Draw your own conclusions. The following material from a group improbably called “The Revolution” on FB. The group, as it often happens with pestilences, already boasts more than 254,000 likes. It carries a huge amount of imbecilic and effluvial content, typical of the confused, ignorant rightwing mind, and, equally curious to us on the left, reserves some of its most ardent invective for establishment corporatists like Obama, Kerry, Hillary and the rest of that gang. Of course, they reach their correct conclusions, that these people are despicable criminals, etc., by basing themselves on their twisted monochromic upside-down logic: the despised figures are NOT crooked enough, bloodthirsty enough, imperialist enough (about the same), ruthless enough, and greedy enough to satisfy their expectations of what “good patriotic leadership” is.   

The Revolution’s Page apparently has an open policy to right-wingers of all stripes, and is home to a hefty contingent of unabashed Zionists and fascists, as the thread below clearly shows. The group was accidentally found by one of our editors, as she scoured the web for evidence that there was at least some signs that some Americans were agitated enough by Israeli crimes to get off their couches and actually demonstrate. Later our social media editor, Branford Perry, visited the group and the specific Zionists’ thread we feature, and found it hard to believe that modern Jews —consumed with the jingoist frenzy of Zionism and heavily influenced by Israeli propaganda (within and without Israel), would have forgotten so totally the horrible lessons of their own recent past.
