[W]e’re happy to post this YouTube story here because we are animal lovers, and because it is a thoroughly moving and uplifting story. The world is a big place (despite the fact our planet is but a small speck of dust in the universe) and most of the time all we hear is the disheartening stories of human brutality, greed, callousness, and mendacity that seem to permeate life in our species. So many people seem constantly engaged in a war against fellow humans, animals, and nature itself.

The tale of Little B and his dog Haatchi is in many ways the opposite. It’s one of those stories that replenish our faith in our fellows. So take a few minutes and learn about this great duo. By the way, the book just came out, and we got a copy. It’s a wonderful addition to any home library.—PG

Last year we made this film as part of our documentary filmmaking course at the University of Hertfordshire. We managed to find this special family and document an incredible few months of their lives. We made this film to not only tell the families story, but to raise awareness of Schwartz Jampel Syndrome and to show how incredible rescue dogs are. A little bit of love can go a hell of a long way. **This is in no way an advert and is not being used commercially**
