[H]ere’s CBS doing its squalid job as one of the many heads of the disinformation hydra run by the American empire. Everything in the “report” is hearsay, rumor, biased supposition and omission of critical countervailing opinion and fact. Disgraceful as journalism, but effective as Hitlerite-style Big Lie propaganda. The only type we see or hear today in the United States.
Note that the report’s windup says absolutely nothing about the fact it is the United States that started this bloody mess by sneakily overthrowing the duly elected (albeit admittedly corrupt) government in Kiev, thereafter replacing it with a regime riddled with anti-Russian fascists. And that it is the US that since then has prompted, and continues to prod its European accomplices, from Britain to Poland, into mounting a more aggressive posture against Moscow.
Equally important, the American public is never told that it is Washington that has deliberately sought to restart a Cold War with Russia by wantonly seeking to encircle her with nuclear-capable forward bases on her very frontiers. Obviously we would never stand for that, why do we expect the Russians to do so? The American government—read, the American plutocracy—has been doing this for decades but few Americans have ever noticed.
The public can scarcely get these essential facts by just watching this piece of fetid pseudo journalism. For what it’s worth, write or call CBS and the rest of the criminal bunch and tell them you are on to their game. Don’t expect a reply, but if enough letters and calls are received, it’ll rattle the bastards. Above all, DISSEMINATE these reports.
