Miles de personas de todo el mundo (España, Francia, México, USA, UK, Alemania, Bélgica, Brasil, Argentina…) han participado en esta acción de protesta, lanzada por No Somos Delito, contra una “ley que ataca los derechos constitucionales de libertad de reunión, asociación y expresión”.

El viernes 10 de abril de 2015, vimos lo que hacía tiempo que no se podía, una manifestación frente al congreso de los diputados. El objetivo de esta manifestación hecha con hologramas es denunciar la aprobación de la Ley de Protección de la Seguridad Ciudadana, conocida como “Ley Mordaza”, y llamar a la movilización social para exigir su derogación antes de su entrada en vigor el próximo 1 de julio de 2015.



 

Spain Hologram Protest: The Future of Activism

Spanish activist group Hologramas por la Libertad have staged the world’s first ever hologram protest in response to the Citizen Safety Law passed by the Spanish government, which set huge fines for protestors convening outside of government buildings. The virtual demonstration, which took place in front of the Spanish Parliament, was meant to show that, despite the new legal restrictions, the public can still get its message across.
