From time to time (since not even imperial tediousness can be absolute and 100% abominable), a commercial pops up that has some undeniable humor in it. This is one such instance. The fictional “Box” (which as a product doesn’t exist either since auto insurance is a contractual transaction only) is invested with human narcissist qualities. Observe how well cast and tightly calibrated this spot is, not a gesture is wasted. The TSA employees, especially the female agent (Leila Babson), are simply impeccable. Incidentally, not to plug Progressive Insurance, but its late founder was a prominent supporter of left-liberal causes.
