Dispatches from
STEPHEN LENDMAN
America is the world’s leading proliferator of violence and terrorism, not ISIS, its creator, used to wage proxy wars of aggression. CIA, Mossad and intelligence operatives from their rogue state partners teach them to behead victims, torture them, use chemical and other banned weapons, along with committing other gruesome atrocities. Their handiwork is discovered in liberated areas, most recently Palmyra. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported “popular defense forces” uncovered a mass grave with at least 40 corpses of men, women and children. Some were beheaded, others brutally tortured. After capturing Palmyra in May last year, ISIS terrorists massacred around 400 mostly women, children and elderly victims.
[dropcap]J[/dropcap]ihadist mercenaries don’t join ISIS ready to go on a rampage. They have to be taught. CIA and Mossad operatives are notorious for involvement in teaching the fine art of mass killings and other atrocities – working from secret locations in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan. Washington wants Assad replaced by a US-controlled puppet. The Pentagon is actively training new terrorist fighters (called “rebels”) to replenish ranks of depleted forces in Syria – proof it wants war, not peace. Assad accused “Erdogan’s army of terrorists” fighting against his government in Syria, making them his proxy forces. Ankara and Riyadh “crossed all possible red lines, possibly from the first week of” fighting, he said.

“Today, the war against Erdogan and against Saudi Arabia is a war against terrorists. The Turkish army, which is not even Turkish, is Erdogan’s army that is fighting today in Syria” – with full US support and encouragement. Everything done by Ankara and Riyadh “from the very beginning (is naked) aggression” against a nonbelligerent country. “(W)hen we attack these terrorists…this leads to Erdogan’s direct defeat.” Two weeks of peace talks accomplished nothing, both sides intractably apart. War won’t end until Syrian forces with Russian aerial support defeat the scourge of ISIS and other terrorist groups, regaining control of all territory they hold – preserving Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, handing imperial Washington a major defeat.
