EXCELLENT COMMENTS: Trump’s lack of faux sanctimony upsets the foundations of a faux democracy
Peter Pavimentov
Commenting on Worst. Putin Puppet. Ever
I did not intend to convey that Trump’s disdain for the media (which is typically New York-ish) is the reason why they hate him, but it did not help and made it easier for them to excoriate him. Trump is the typical big NY businessman and one can see them getting in and out of their vehicles on Fifth or Park Avenue every day. And he is cunning but not clumsy nor imbecilic but adapts like playdough to every form so that he can stay well in power, vide his recoveries after every bankruptcy. Deep state is a fashionable term which really does not cover the manifold Washington permanent interests as they are diverse and spread out over many fields of influence, reason why there is such a chaos. A conventional president like Hillary was far preferable [to them] because she would conform to the status quo and all pockets would be duly filled. Trump has upset the balance of powers something for which he is not forgiven. Indeed, he would rather have normal diplomatic relations with Russia not because he would profit from it (as far as one can tell) but simply because it would mean good business for US exports. ISIS is indeed a creation or rather a result of the Western invasions in the Middle East.
There is no doubt that all factions of the US government see a large advantage in controlling the economies and the politics of many strategic and resource rich countries, but they would rather have others do their work for them as was evident in Libya and in Syria. Then the mess they had to cope with in Iraq (till now and enduring) would fall on other Western nations. The long row of presidents after the lethal Truman is a string of clever self-serving manipulators who veered between vested interests represented by the Washington lobbying cabals. Trump is part of that but more aggressive and less faux-sanctimonious which upsets the foundations of a faux-democracy. The very devious media is beyond contempt as it is a purely [a] political propaganda asset for stirring the political pot because confusion breeds control by this and that power bloc (not unlike Germany's 1930’s all-encompassing and acerbic state information channels).
The banal accusations of Trump’s misogyny hide his real danger and the absurd depictions of him serve to obscure the societal distortions he initiates (without comparing Trump directly to Schicklgruber, both men are/were thought to be inexperienced, harmless and easily manipulated). It is already well recognized that his political appointments of conservative judges will change the political landscape (Schicklgruber did the same). His aim is openly stated as making the US great (again), which means clearly a retraction from overseas commitments leaving a field of satellites doing US’s bidding, easily controlled by economic blackmail (import tariffs being the first step) and with a strong military blockade against repercussions from its empirical ambition (Trump is a close witness of 9/11), which is also a repeat of the German Siegfried Line. All the feeble remonstrations against Trump are blind to the fact that he represents the new and deadly serious descent into a remodeled National Socialism fitted to US standards, but as usual when this has been realized, it is too late.
