The wheels of business and human food compulsions are implacable and totally lacking in compassion. This is a downed cow, badly hurt, but still being dragged to slaughter. With plentiful non-animal meat substitutes that fool the palate, there is no longer reason for this senseless suffering. Meat consumption is a serious ecoanimal crime. OK, we admit it: we love cats. Along with all animals.  This is however the story of a little creature, Potato, who, through just one good break, has managed to overcome a multitude of bad breaks, and win the hearts of everyone she has ever come in contact with, including a bunch of older cats. It certainly won the hearts of the editors.
