I just listened to the interview here with Dr. John Ackerman, Professor of Law at Mexico University and major journalist about the chances of the Left candidate Andres Moreno Lopez Obrador, who at this moment is highly favored to break the PRI tradtion of electoral fraud to win elections for nearly 80 years. Ackerman estimates that because of the fraud threat, itself institutionalized, as is the governing PRI party, Lopez Obrador (known as AMLO) would need at least a majority plus 15% vote in order to make his eventual electoral victory stick.
