De Niro says F**K you, to Trump, but misses the broader picture by a mile.

De Niro says F**K you, to Trump, but misses the broader picture by a mile. It figures, and he's not alone. The Democrats have literally millions of people now following a painfully truncated narrative.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he "Trump-obsessed" or "Never Trumpers" forget the broader picture. Actors may not be cattle, as Hitchcock is reputed to have said,  but in general they are not noted for their intelligence, and Bobby De Niro, despite his great acting chops, is known for not being the sharpest knife in the drawer. There you have the makings of a complacently myopic understanding of the world, and naturally US politics, as messy and confusing as they come. Too bad that De Niro and his tribe while thinking they are opposing fascism, are actually enabling it. —PG
