Hypocrisy Central: Imperial media using Khashoggi’s death to attack “authoritarians”

Again, we are obliged to CBS for furnishing the grist for our commentary.

Notice the US is presented as an impartial seeker of truth, righteousness and justice in this story. How's that for a laugh.

Breaking: Media whores are claiming Pompeo is in Saudi Arabia "looking for answers..." And that's a big lie. Pompeo, a thug that fits his role, is in Ryadh to read the Saudis "the riot act" from the mafia Empire's side, and intimidate them to play along Washington's larcenous script (as outlined in this article)..or else. It's a coordination job. Obviously the ruling elites have not settled on how to handle this ugly caper, but the last thing we should believe is the moral integrity of any of the parties: Saudis, Turks, Brits, and Americans. Obviously the US—whose intel usually encompasses that of all its accomplices, including the Israelis, intel being highly porous among the members of this gang—knows exactly what hapened to Khashoggi, perhaps knew it well in advance...so all this pretend ignorance is another big lie. Meanwhile, as mentioned elsewhere, while publicly taking Ryadh to the woodshed for its supposedly horrific crime ("horror" always being a highly selective emotion at the highest levels of the Empire, which in fact manufactures horrors worldwide around the clock), the propaganda machinery is already milking the Saudi undeniable authoritarian angle to cast further aspersions against Iran, Russia and China's leaders, accusing them all of "authoritarianism", and claiming —as fact—they beat, poison, and kill "dissidents" with shameless impunity. CBS correspondent Fran Townsend is saying it's high time "we do something" about these tyrants. What would you have us do, Fran, declare nuclear war? Would that satisfy you? Plus we know where those "facts" are coming from, since the British tentacle of this viciously hypocritical imperial hydra has floated one outrageous accusation after another against the Russians, with the Skripal affair still fresh in most people's heavily disisinformed minds. —Eds.

Meanwhile, who is this vaunted CBS "National security analyst" Fran Townsend?

Townsend's resume is a perfect illustration of the pollution of media with intel and police apparatchiks, a pollution eagerly facilitated by media owners and executives, all of whom are integral parts of the ruling imperial elites, and thereby fully complicit in its crimes.
