MUST WATCH—Chris Hedges & Lee Camp on the vanishing of American democracy

BE SURE TO PASS THESE ARTICLES TO FRIENDS AND KIN. A LOT DEPENDS ON THIS. DO YOUR PART.

Nader and Hedges talk about the hollowing out of American democracy, tracing it back to about 40 years, but am afraid the fraudulence of US democracy goes back a lot longer, perhaps to its inception, since no capitalist democracy is ever designed or implemeted to serve the ordinary citizen. The sleight of hand, call it the illusion of democracy, just got perfected and thereby more cynical and rotten in the last few decades—at least since the Carter administration on down to our days. The rot has been always there, in inexorable motion toward the end point we inhabit. —PG
