Mueller hearing proves Democrats are morally bankrupt, and so is Mueller
Patrice Greanville
In their abject moral implosion, the Democrats have succeeded in making the Republicans look good, like the party of principle and integrity—no small feat.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he hearing was—as we expected—a veritable orgy of posturing and mendacity, with the Democrats easily outgunning the Republicans in that dubious accomplishment for one simple reason: The Democrats were out to use Mueller and his report —a pompous and ludicrous tissue of lies which by admission of the author himself did not deliver the goods as so many insane Democrats were hoping—as the decisive weapon to demolish Trump, but they were on thin ice because lies do not stand up well to expert and rigorous scrutiny. For their part, the Republican strategy to protect Trump was simple: just use the truth, which by definition swims in evidence and which was on their side. It did not help that Mueller looked frail, unable to focus, and doddering, often suggesting an alarming picture of someone stricken with early Alzheimer's. That, of course did not stop the Democrats who had long plotted this show to fortify (and later to keep the Russiagate imposture alive) from using the occasion to grandstand and indulge in their fantasies, with one after another tediously repeating the same fabrications. At the end of the day, pathetic as the Democrats' exhibition was, the Deep State and its warmongering legions did not emerge the complete loser. True, to any sensible person, Mueller did not come through as the judicial knight on the white charger offering testimony apt to ensnare Trump in a web of impeachable offenses (that much he had repeatedly said himself when the report first came out, but it fell on disbelieving ears). Mueller however did something just as good for these criminal interests, he validated fearmongering about Russia.
In the videos below we present an overall critique of the hearing by Jimmy Dore and Aaron Maté, followed by an addendum with highlights from both sides of the duopoly.—PG
Jimmy Dore: Mueller Unravels! Cringe Worthy Testimony Exposes Russiagate Hoax!
(Jul 25, 2019)
ADDENDUM
Part One: Democrats—The pathologically self-serving, the unhinged
Adam Schiff (D-CA): Egotistical grandstander, fierce Zionist, shameless warmonger, and chief battering ram for the party in regard to the Russiagate hoax. Everything you hear in this clip is a lie. EVERYTHING. From opening remarks to the last words. In a nest of scoundrels, Schiff easily stands out.
Jackie Speier (D-CA)— Clinically deranged or stricken by bizarre hyperbolic syndrome Speier recalibrates the spurious Russian election meddling accusations into an "Russian invasion". We can only wonder what this woman wants, a declaration of war?
Part Two: Republicans—Truth beneath their sails
Devin Nunes—(R-CA)—Easily the best summary of the Republican defense of Trump, all based on truths, which is not only rare but refreshing. Because Russiagate has always been full of glaring holes and contradictions, a classical fabrication.

Jim Jordan—(R-OH)—Jordan is one of the House's most ferocious corporate shills and reactionaries, with a 100% rating from the ACA:
According to The Dayton Daily News, Jordan "is known for being one of Congress’ most conservative members."[24]
In Congress, Jordan is among the most conservative Republicans, earning a perfect score from the American Conservative Union.[25] He has voted consistently for anti-abortion legislation and was endorsed by Ohio Right to Life in 2012.[26] During the 112th Congress, he was one of 40 "staunch" members of the Republican Study Committee who frequently voted against Republican party leadership and vocally expressed displeasure with House bills.[27]
Jordan has been a leading critic of President Barack Obama's Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) program, advocating for its shutdown.[28]
Jordan has supported the continued production and upgrades of M1 Abrams tanks in his district. The Pentagon opposed the bipartisan action to maintain funding.[29] The Pentagon wants to put a hold on tank upgrades at a Lima plant until a new version is ready, possibly in 2017, in order to save $3 billion. The plant supports approximately 800 jobs in the district.[30][31]
Asked by Anderson Cooper in April 2018 whether he had heard President Trump tell a lie, Jordan said "I have not" and "nothing comes to mind."[32] He also said, "I don't know that [Mr. Trump has ever] said something wrong that he needs to apologize for."[33]
While serving in the Ohio Senate, he supported the Tax and Expenditure Limitation Amendment, a state constitutional amendment that would require a vote of the people in order to raise taxes or increase spending over certain limits.[34]
In July 2008, Jordan was the first member of Congress to sign the "No Climate Tax" pledge, drafted by the conservative political advocacy group, Americans for Prosperity, founded and funded by the Koch brothers, which read "I will oppose any legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in government revenue."[35]

All the above ugliness —it's clear from the resume that Jordan is an enemy of the people, not just in the US, but everywhere—does not cancel the fact that he is bright and quite able to use his lights whenever it suits him. As previously mentioned, with the Republicans essentially tasked with demolishing Mueller's testimony insofar as it damages Trump, they found the job easy since the facts and truth were on their side. Here Jordan is seen in action, making Mueller look plainly addled-brained and inept.
