Eloquent videos: The Bolivian people resist.
Main focus of resistance is El Alto, one of Bolivia’s biggest cities (about 1 million pop.) and almost entirely indigenous, these are the people Evo assisted with housing and other vital services, thereby making them loyal supporters.
A TELESUR VIDEO Description: El Alto inhabitants, organized in columns, descend on La Paz. It’s clear that the regime in time will seek to destroy El Alto, even if it comes down to naked bombing of the city.
THOUSANDS OF BOLIVIANS JOIN THE PROTESTS
Last Thursday, again a crowd descends from the city of El Alto toward La Paz, capital of Bolivia, to demonstrate against the coup d’etat to the constitutional government of Evo Morales. They demand the immediate resignation of the self-proclaimed president Jeanine Añez. At the same time, other organizations demonstrate in the center of the Bolivian capital. teleSUR •

WHILE BACK AT THE EMPIRE—
Western media supports the coup: nothing new on that front
The Western press lies. Here’s the mighty BBC offering its platform to Jeanine Añez so she may “explain” to its comfortable audience in the first world that what has happened in Bolivia is not a coup, oh no, but “a citizens’ movement to recapture the integrity of the nation’s elections.” Añez declares, without pushback from the BBC journo, that Evo was trying to “impose his regime by force”. A blatant lie.
