Michael John Parenti is an American political scientist and cultural critic who writes on scholarly and popular subjects. He has taught at American and international universities and has been a guest lecturer before campus and community audiences. One of his most recent books, The Assassination of Julius Caesar, is an eyeopener not only about the true historical complexion of Caesar's rule, but as a deconstruction of falsified histories.
