Navalny is a well known Russian chauvinist and racist (hates Muslims and Chechens, among others), a crook, and a known, documentable hybrid war asset in the service of the West, which makes him a traitor. He has been used by the Western propaganda machine for many years to demonize Russia, and create the conditions for a color revolution. None of that would be apparent to anyone reading the Western press, of course, as he remains one of their new heroes, in the style of lionized "Soviet dissidents" of yore.
