A recent poll of American voters produced the surprising result that a majority of us would rather that neither Biden nor Trump appear on our presidential ballots in 2024. 58 percent, in fact. This high number of disaffected voters suggests that a third-party candidate could launch a viable run for the highest office in the land by mobilizing voters who are disenchanted with the status quo.
