EXPOSING CAPITALISM'S MULTITUDE OF VICES AND INCURABLE PROBLEMS
ALEXANDER BOLGOV
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva said in his Telegram channel that Western Ukraine began preparations for the entry of this region into Poland and, as a result, for the territorial division of Ukraine.
ANNEXATION AND REFERENDUM, NOT VICE VERSA
Kiva considers the suspension of the transportation of most of the new weapons received from NATO to the war zone, to the East, as evidence of the impending partition of Ukraine. According to the ex-deputy, Poland has recently been leaving these weapons in Western Ukraine in order to create a "new line of defense" from Russia there. But, according to Kiva, all this is done with completely different goals.
- This is the first stage before secession and the creation of a "pro-Western Ukraine" with its capital in Lvov. With the subsequent accession, through a referendum, to Poland, - Kiva outlined a further scenario of what is happening.
Yes, traffic flows have now partially stopped, but let's remember that after the recent Russian missile strikes on railway traction substations in Western Ukraine, the transfer of heavy weapons to the east of the country has become technically more complicated. At least until the substations are fixed.
But, on the other hand, according to Kiva, weapons from Lviv have not been delivered to the East of Ukraine for a much longer time. And if a significant part of them remain in the vicinity of Lviv, then there is logic in the words of the ex-deputy.
In addition, a scan of a document from the Ministry of Defense of Poland began to circulate on the network. It (signed by the General Commander of the Armed Forces of Poland, Yaroslav Miki), sets the task of bringing the 6th Airborne Battalion, the 16th Airborne Battalion and the 18th Airborne Battalion of the 6th Airborne Brigade (6 BPD) to full combat readiness ) for the upcoming "protection of critical infrastructure from Russian aggression" in the Lviv and Volyn regions. That is, in fact, we are talking about the introduction of parts of the Polish army to Western Ukraine.
This scan may well be a stuffing. But quite recently, two high-ranking and highly knowledgeable Russian officials warned of just such a development of events - Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and SVR Director Sergei Naryshkin.
In addition, immediately after the appearance of the scanned document on the network, the informed Ukrainian Resident Telegram channel found it necessary to remind: “Colleagues, a month ago we wrote that the Office of the President agreed with Warsaw on the entry of the Polish army into Western Ukraine. On Bankova (address of Zelensky’s residence ) want to release part of the military equipment and units that will be transferred to the eastern front."
And, given the announcement of the fourth wave of mobilization in Ukraine, under which reserve officers fall, the news may turn out to be real. By the way, it is distributed with the reference that the document was received from the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.
Whether or not Kiva is right in his assumptions will become clear later. But if this process starts, it is unlikely that it will be limited only to the participation of Poland and the Ukrainian Lviv and Volyn regions.
Бывший депутат Верховной рады Илья Кива заявил в своем Телеграм-канале, что на Западной Украине началась подготовку к вхождению этого региона в состав Польши и, как следствие, к территориальному разделу Украины.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva (below) said in his Telegram channel that Western Ukraine began preparations for the entry of this region into Poland and, as a result, for the territorial division of Ukraine.
THERE ARE THREE WISHES, THERE IS NO GOLD FISH
Talk about the upcoming division of Ukraine began to actively pedal after the coup d'état in Kyiv in 2014. The basis for such discussions and forecasts were the efforts of Ukraine itself to create a mono-ethnic state and the oppression of national minorities.
The Poles began to actively distribute among the inhabitants of the western regions of the country the “Polish card”, which facilitated moving to Poland with the prospect of obtaining citizenship of this country, and it also provided a number of advantages in the border areas.
The Hungarians did not bother much, but simply began to issue Hungarian passports to their ethnic compatriots in the Carpathian region, which caused a flurry of indignation in Kyiv.
Romania did not stand aside from the distribution of its passports in Chernivtsi and Southern Bessarabia, but did so quietly. Although not less massively than Hungary.
In addition, the western neighbors of Ukraine remembered that part of the current Ukrainian territories until 1939 (and some until 1945) were part of their states. So, in Poland, for example, the term "Eastern Kresy" is still used to refer to the territories that belonged to it in Western Ukraine, Western Belarus and even in modern Lithuania.
Although the Poles took possession of these lands for only two decades after the collapse of the Russian Empire - from 1919 to 1939 - they made great efforts to expand ethnically in these territories. More than 300 thousand retired Polish military colonists were resettled here. For example, in 1931, almost 158,000 Poles, 100,000 Jews and only about 50,000 Ukrainians lived in the same Lvov. And by 1989, less than 10,000 Poles remained in Lviv.
Therefore, the “return” of lands and cities, as well as property, to the heirs of Polish families who were killed or simply expelled from the “Eastern Kresy” is almost an obsession for many in Poland. In addition, it is a thorn in the side of the Poles that Western Ukraine is now openly proud of Bandera and promotes it as an official ideology. In Warsaw, they did not forget who organized the Volyn massacre.
After the recent missile strikes by Russian missiles on railway traction substations in Western Ukraine, the transfer of heavy weapons to the east of the country has become technically more complicated. At least until the substations are fixed.
WHO HAS WHAT KINDS?
Similarly, other neighboring states have their own views on the territory of Ukraine, referring to the fact that they were part of them, and their fellow tribesmen still live there.
According to many experts, the territory of Western and South-Western Ukraine can be divided between neighboring states of Ukraine in approximately this order.
Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Rivne and Ternopil regions will go to Poland.
Hungary, according to the same experts, can lay claim to the Transcarpathian region, where most of the ethnic Hungarians live.
But here, excuse me, Slovakia also has an interest. Since part of the territory of the current Transcarpathian region was the territory of Slovakia, and the Rusyn community lives compactly there, most of which remained in Slovakia.
However, Budapest and Bratislava can quite quickly come to an agreement here.
It's more difficult with Romania. She was tipped off the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine (the northern part of Bukovina), which really was part of Romania. But the Romanians would like to lay claim to the whole of Bessarabia, which, by the way, they simply captured after the collapse of the Russian Empire. Not only does this threaten the sovereignty of Moldova, but Ukraine also includes the lands of historical Bessarabia - the so-called Budzhak or Southern Bessarabia. Many politicians in Bucharest are not averse to annexing this piece to their republic. For example, part of the Odessa region with the cities of Izmail, Reni, Kiliya, Bolgrad, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky ...
There are far more Moldovans in some of these areas than Ukrainians. But in others there are more Bessarabian Bulgarians or Russians ... There, in general, there is a solid international, there are both Gagauz and Albanians, and after mixed marriages, it is completely impossible to determine ethnicity.
BUT THERE ARE NUANCES...
Applicants "for the body" Square decided. Many believe that Russia in this case will rightfully go to Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa regions (we are not talking about the LDNR, there is already complete certainty). And from Ukraine there will remain a state formation as part of the Chernihiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytsky regions. Or each of them will become an independent quasi-republic. As in the final season of Zelensky's series "Servant of the People".
And this whole picture with the section of the Square looks quite conclusive and convincing. But only at first glance. Because there are other equally important aspects.
Let's take the same Hungarians. They live compactly in only four districts of the Transcarpathian region - Beregovsky, Vinogradovsky, Mukachevo and Uzhgorod. And beside them, there are many Rusyns in Transcarpathia.
An attempt to annex the "disputed" regions to Poland, Hungary and Romania is almost impossible in a calm time. But in times of crisis or hostilities, the local population is more likely to buy into promises of "pies and donuts" from neighboring countries. For example, having passed under the wing of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, the inhabitants of these regions will automatically become citizens of the European Union with all the "eating" due on this occasion. In addition, many people from Western Ukraine already work in the EU countries.
And what looks unreal today, in a month or a year, may look almost the most correct and logical way out of a crisis or a military conflict.
PS And to whom can Budzhak or Southern Bessarabia go along with Ishmael? Well, you give. Ask Generalissimo Suvorov Alexander Vasilyevich, Count Rymniksky, who Ishmael took.
