FICTION: Before the usual audience of sycophants and corporate hacks, Biden signs the misnomered Inflation Reduction Act, boasting that it will result in significant reductions in the price of drugs and other healthcare services. FACT: Drug Price Reduction Actually NOT Happening!

The Jimmy Dore Show/ Aug 16, 2022

Democrats have been crowing about the new Inflation Reduction Act and all its benefits, including the cost savings Medicare recipients will enjoy thanks to the lower prices negotiated with the pharmaceutical industry. Plus the lower prices paid by Medicare recipients will no doubt translate into higher prices for everyone else. Jimmy and America’s comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the Democrats’ Washington Generals-esque performance in pretending to do big things for the American people while actually doing the bidding of big time corporate donors.
