Recently, a comrade, and frequent contributor to these pages, Caleb Maupin, has been caught in a spiral of ugly allegations whose consequences have already taken an enormous personal toll, and ruined much of his important political work. At this point we don't know all the facts, nor can we evaluate with a fair amount of certainty the context in which his presumed offences took place. The situation remains murky, although Caleb himself has admitted some serious errors. Still, knowing how much the current system and its numerous shills have long been salivating to tear down and silence a capable activist and geopolitical observer such as Caleb, we are not in the mood to stand in judgment of his actions, nor for that matter, join the lynching mob, comprised, as usual, by a preponderance of devious "synthetic left" types. That said, we owed our readers reliable and fair information on this painful development, and, after looking in many places, we found that Sabrina Salvati (Sabby Sabs) had compiled the most scrupulous and sensitive report. Sabby, a valued independent journalist, has also had Caleb on her show on various occasions, and holds him in high regard for his highly original analytical and didactic skills.
