It's apparent that the Neocons—embedded in the State Department—are determined to push their fanatical anti-Russia agenda to the limit. Thus, confronted with a huge defeat in Ukraine, they will characteristically simply not accept it, double down, and go for the nuclear option—behind some grotesque lie, as usual.
