Whither Musk’s Twitter

Though-so far—his firing of "woke" enforcers within Twitter has cleansed the platform somewhat, do not expect ultimate liberation from a corporate stranglehold, as Musk is, like the rest of his ilk, unprincipled.

It must be excruciatingly difficult having to decide whether to put some of one’s hundreds-of-billions of dollars, along with potential future profit, at risk to affirm one’s previous public declaration of support for the freedom of speech principle. That is the dilemma that Musk has before him.

But has Musk provided a free speech forum for all Twitter users? Yours truly, a small-fry free-speech, anti-racism, anti-war, anti-disinformation sporadic user of Twitter has been banished without notice or reason for several months now. I assume it is for my progressivist principles that are not shared by Democrats working in the Twitter space (e.g., support for Palestinian rights, support for Indigenous rights, support for all human rights, etc).

Worthies around the globe, but especially in the Anglo-American node, the most hypocritical and aggressive of the entire woke imperialist project, endeavor to cover themselves with credentials which, upon inspection and in terms of praxis, are simply laughable. Almost to a wo/man, this crowd boasts resumes to recognise each other, justify their power to bend events by disinformation, and to impress the easily impressionable—who, unfortunately, still exist in huge quantities. Their degrees and titles come from the world's most famous universities and institutions, but, all of that is just fools' gold, to no avail in a court of truth and decency,  because their grotesquely remunerated and high-falutin jobs are mainly discharged in support of unjust and often criminal policies. Over decades, the Empire has created a multitude of masks to cover its tracks and hide its minions, some, no doubt, themselves true believers.  Take a look at the Orwellian CV of one such worthy, Shannon Raj Singh, who headed what Moon of Alabama editor correctly calls "the regime change" team at Twitter. The human rights team was the 'regime change' force on Twitter. It intervened in conflicts where the U.S. preferred a certain side.

And MoA is being extremely polite. For these are the folks who, on every establishment platform, overt and covert, censor free speech in the name of protecting the helpless public from "fake" stories, while tipping the scales so the Big Lie will always prevail, thereby assuring the triumph of imperial narratives at the cost of endless wars, manufactured poverty, and mass suffering across the planet.
