Investigate when possible, or contact local legit humane groups and ask for references or to have someone visit the people or group behind the video. Inflicting suffering on orphan animals —which is then filmed—in order to pretend rescuing them from such fate—is a disgusting but increasingly common occurrence on YouTube and other mass video channels. Unfortunately, YouTube is too busy policing free speech to dedicate staff to testing the credentials of people uploading these types of videos. The matter is complicated because—thankfully—there are also many legitimate groups rescuing animals in distress all over the world. This problem is typical of a world in disorder, where many urgent social priorities (ecoanimal tasks, eradication of poverty and economic insecurity, eradication of animal exploitation and cruelty, universalisation of healthcare for all sentient creatures, human and non-human, etc.) are still very much impossible since our species remains in the grip of human-made plagues: endless wars for profit, mass ignorance, lowering or negation of compassionate standards due to extensive social hardships, and so on. That's why human progress lifting all people to decent standards, and creating the conditions for a social peace based on well-grounded social justice and sociopolitical and economic egalitarianism, are the pre-requisites for the creation of a kinder world where human-created suffering is substantially reduced. In a world of unnecessary horrors, social change is not a luxury; it is a moral duty.

The wheels of business and human food compulsions—often exacerbated by reactionary creeds— are implacable and totally lacking in compassion. This is a downed cow, badly hurt, but still being dragged to slaughter. Click on this image to fully appreciate this horror repeated millions of times every day around the world. With plentiful non-animal meat substitutes that fool the palate, there is no longer reason for this senseless suffering. And meat consumption is a serious ecoanimal crime.
