Garland explains how and why the Biden admin is going after the Uhuru Movement, an African/American socialist formation, for endorsing positions that push against the warmongering imperial narrative. The charges are of course ridiculous, and
glaringly anti-constitutional. None of this seems to disturb the legions of dumbed-down liberals still marching within the corrupt self-serving folds of the Democrat party. Garland not only denounces this latest outrage but suggests (and we agree) that the Democrats may be pissed that there's yet another group pushing for a third party, one well outside of, and truly oppositional to, the utterly corrupt duopoly.
One of the charges is that Uhuru is spreading "Russian propaganda". We have heard such ridiculous arguments before, as the duopoly has always tried to stop and criminalise criticism of the system by claiming such criticism originates with dupes of foreign powers. Thus, anyone who disagrees with the official narrative about the Ukraine war —or just about anything else of importance to the system—is a Putin agent or a dupe sowing discord in US society—or worse. Well, by that token, millions of people in the US and across the globe who think that the sun rises in the East are ipso facto Russian agents, because hey, Russia also thinks that way.
In that sense, the long-cultivated psychotic anti-communist" reflex has paid off well for the US ruling class, said reflex deliberately resuscitated by the cynical Democrats with their Russiagate scam, legally and technically demolished by none other than the Mueller report. However, the pretext is too good to give it up, so they haven't. Meanwhile the legions of rabidly "antifascist" liberals in the Blue cult are saying virtually nothing about this, nor, are the party's Uncle Toms. Where are Cory Booker, Jim Clyburn, Hakeem Jeffries and the other big voices in the Black Congress club now that the country really needs them? (And I extend that criticism to their complicit silence regarding the equally vile RESTRICT act, currently being maneuvered to accomplish the same goal, silencing dissent in America).
