George Galloway, who knew Hugo Chavez well and spent two weeks working on his campaign in Venezuela last year, says the Venezuelan leader stood for the kind of things Labour used to stand for. His opponent in this dialog, a Republican politician, describes Pres. Chavez "as a despot" who "stole from some to give to others."Pres. Chavez died on March 5, 2013. Half of this program is straight pro-capitalist propaganda, since Galloway's views had to appear "balanced" in the opinion of Channel 4 (UK)'s managers.
