Tucker denounces US before a big European audience

Tucker Carlson is rapidly becoming a one-man global information disinfecting machine, slaying with powerful blows the dragon of massive disinformation spread by the Western presstitutes over eons of malpractice. Fortunately he is on the people's side. In his latest European tour he has already made history. His conversation in Budapest with Hungarian leader Balázs Orbán is going viral, and so is his interview with the country's Prime minister, Viktor Orbán. And now Tucker is poised to interview Putin. How long will the agents of mischief allow him to do this before they pull some nasty trick to stop him? They are too heavily invested in the Big Lie to let their gigantic edifice of deception be wrecked by a man they themselves made into a major public figure. Fox News and the Western oligarchy will rue the day they fired Tucker Carlson.

The appearance, in the global anti-imperialist struggle, of largely objectively progressive voices such as Tucker Carlson, who, still evolving, subjectively identify with many right-wing positions that remain anathema to the genuine left (racist ignorant views on immigrants, China hatred, etc), carries the potential for a reawakening of ultra-leftist criticism and disruption, an ever present danger in revolutionary work. Trumpism, with its rightwing opportunism, and false promises, obviously carries some very ugly implications, but so does bourgeois reformism, condemning backward workers to an eternal wheel of delusional advance toward a non-capitalist future. Pursuing doctrinal and practical purity, the ultra-left rejects any form of collaboration or work with such elements, including in trade unions or bourgeois electoral contests considered too corrupt for participation. But In his duly famous pamphlet Left Wing Communism, an Infantile Disorder, Lenin refuted such ultra-left positions.  It was necessary, said Lenin, to remain in the trade unions and ‘carry on communist work within them at all costs’. and that ‘while you lack the strength to do away with bourgeois parliaments and every other type of reactionary institution you must work within them’.  To do otherwise was simply to abandon the backward workers to the mercies of the treacherous (pseudo) reformist leaders, or, in the age of Trump, to reactionary charlatans: 

‘The task devolving on Communists is to convince the backward elements, to work among them, and not to fence themselves off from them with artificial and childishly ‘Left’ slogans.’

This is the backdrop to the warning we quote below by our comrade Billy Bob. At a moment when WWIII and even nuclear war is in the air, the role of genuine left activists is critical.

I would just add, as I attempted to do on the program today, that it is important to denounce the efforts from self-described leftists, who themselves want to denigrate and denounce those that they consider ideologically imperfect or impure.

This is the same mentality that denounces China for not living up to their (the Western "leftist's") idealistic image of what a "socialist country" should be. These folks seemingly have no appreciation for reality and how progress and shifts towards improvement will necessarily come about in a gradual way. They await in vain the fully formed ideologically-pure, post-scarcity society, to fall from the sky, while they vehemently denounce the impurity of those, who are most visibly undergoing the positive ideological transformation from ignorance and towards a more complete and better grasp of reality.

It goes without saying that we must be on guard from opportunists who will attempt to co-opt popular sentiment in order to steer popular opinion back into the confines of acceptable bourgeois debate. For instance it would be misguided to view Trump and Carlson as the modern equivalent of Mao and Zhou Enlai.

But, focusing on the fear that the ideological shortcomings of these folks will result in a net negative for the movement, ignores the reality that the Trump phenomenon and the partial ideological awakening of people like Tucker Carlson and Oliver Anthony, are simply symptoms, and the most observable examples of the tremendous geopolitical and ideological changes, that are currently taking place.

It is our job to take advantage of this momentous opportunity and to help facilitate the proliferation of truth. Instead of denouncing and denigrating those that were former conservative partisans, or those who had previously embraced their conservative indoctrination, we need to collaborate with these folks in order to develop a broad working class coalition. It is utterly self defeating to allow the culture war and the liberal-conservative divide, to keep us from uniting around shared, working class interests.

While racism, bigotry, and chauvinism must be denounced and neither condoned nor tolerated, we should not assume that these are eternal defining features of everyone who is a Trump voter or who considers themselves to be religious. Yet this is exactly the self-defeating approach that seems to exist within much of the Western "left".
