The recent Hamas attacks inside Israel and subsequent Israeli bombardment of Gaza has sent shockwaves across the Middle East. One of the immediate consequnces: an unprecedented direct conversation between Saudi Arabian leader Price Mohammed bin Salman and Iranian leader Ebrahim Raisi so that the rival nations could confer about the fate of Palestine. The question is whether these conversations and others among world leaders will be able to prevent the conflict in Gaza from spiraling into a larger war across the Middle East and beyond. Guest host Craig Jardula and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger talk to international affairs expert Mark Sleboda about the response from other key players like Syria, Lebanon and Russia.
2 / Arabs Scaling Walls To Get Into Israel & Fight!
Since last weekend’s brazen attack from Gaza into Israel proper and the subsequent Israeli response, videos have been making the rounds depicting individuals from neighboring countries pouring into Israel in order to throw their lot in with the Palestinians and join the “resistance.” The threat is that these neighboring countries will follow their citizenry into the conflict, leading to the last thing anyone with sense could want: a wider war.

Not surprisingly, since the latest outbreak of violence in Israel and Gaza, videos have surfaced featuring supporters of the Palestinians praising the Hamas attacks as well as videos of Israelis chanting for Gaza to be wiped off the map. And the question then becomes, is any grievance ever so righteaous that it justifies expressing support for the commission of atrocities?

When Joe Biden won the 2020 election, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was among the first foreign leaders to congratulate the new president-elect. And you know who hasn’t forgotten? Donald Trump. So Trump took advantage of the recent conflict in Gaza to criticize the Israeli PM and his leadership team as “stupid” and compliment the Lebanon-based Hezbollah as “smart” but vicious.

No war between Israel and Iran is coming. That is why the US sent the warships and why Biden is flying forthwith to the Middle East. The US does not want another front as they try to salvage whatever possible from the Ukraine debacle. It would cost too much in men, war material and politically.
