Special Guests Larry Johnson and Max Parry join the roundtable regulars to discuss the current events of the past week. Larry Johnson is a former State Department employee and CIA analyst who brings tremendous insight and experience to the discussion. Max Parry is a journalist and analyst who has appeared on Press TV and many other places. The discussion focuses on the volatile situation in the Middle East that threatens to spiral out of control as the Israeli government pursues its perceived interests in the wake of the Hamas attack on Oct. 7. The panel highlights the danger that exists and the tightrope that is being walked by all parties as they seek to balance risk and reward in the context of the last half century of Israeli military occupation. Numerous angles are discussed, including the perspectives of Russia and China; the increasing isolation of the US; and the opportunism of regional actors like Erdogan. Also, the panel touches on why it is impossible for the US to do the right thing given the influence of the Zionist lobby (that is comprised of secular, Jewish, and Christian influence) on US foreign policy."
