Yes, the shamelessness of Western lies is abhorrent. The violence on both sides is awful, one caused by the other, but no babies had their heads chopped off nor women were burned alive. But then the Palestinians are a nuisance like flies constantly returning and disturbing the peace and they need to be swapped down. The West is always there to ‘help’, while being the cause of it all.
We ALL feel helpless because we do not live in real democracies. The decisions are made by invisible criminal elites unaccountable to the ordinary citizens.
But we are not helpless when people realize that power lies in the multitudes of rebelling crowds. Aside from the abhorrent propaganda from the TV channels,
many crowds now protest against the treatment of Palestinians. The next step is action to get rid of governments that are enemies of the people.

We need more courageous people like Caleb Maupin and his friends who stood on the street holding up banners saying ‘China is not your enemy’, but now we need banners saying: ‘Your government is not your friend’

What is telling (and it is now Saturday October 28) that there is a total blackout
(by governmental orders?) of all ‘news’ about what is happening in the Near East
