Dan Yaseen (Host): Welcome to Speaking Truth to Empire on KFCF 88.1 FM, independently owned and locally operated since 1975 in Fresno. My name is Daniel Yaseen. I’m an introvert and anti-empire activist. Rich Ether is at the controls. Thank you, Rich. Today is November 15th, 2023. Third Wednesday of the month. Every third Wednesday, I interview authors, scholars, bloggers, columnists, and activists who help us look at our world through the prism of American imperialism.

On the show, we talk about the US foreign and domestic policies and the actions of the military-industrial-congressional complex. These actions have severe consequences not only for the people here in the United States but also for the people in many other countries. Brown on the telephone with us. Hello, Jeff.

Jeff J Brown (Guest): How are you doing, Dan?

Dan: Thank you. Thank you for being my guest. Jeff J. Brown is a geopolitical analyst, journalist, lecturer, and the author of the China Trilogy, which consists of “44 days backpacking in China”, “China Rising: Capitalist Roads, Socialist Destination” and “BIG Red Book on China”. Jeff is a contributing editor with The Greenville Post and also wrote a column for The Saker. Jeff writes interviews and podcasts on his own program, China Rising Sinoland, which is also available on many platforms like YouTube, iTunes, Brighteon, iVoox, RuVid.

Jeff, welcome back today. We will talk about the Palestinian holocaust perpetrated by Israel in Gaza. Let me give you, my analysis. Israel is committing multiple war crimes in Gaza. Yes, Hamas is responsible for what it did. Now, we know that the Israeli government lied about that. Now Israel is responsible for what it is doing bombing civilians, committing genocide, ethnically cleansing the population of Gaza by asking 1.6 million people to leave their homes and then bombing them as they try to leave.

These are war crimes that Israel is committing with the full support of the United States and the European Union. We are witnessing the greatest war crimes of the century committed by Israel while the so-called custodians of human rights in the imperial West are stoking the flames of conflict by encouraging Israel to continue its atrocities. Israel is bombing schools, hospitals, ambulances, mosques, churches, refugee camps, and infrastructure. In five and a half weeks, Israel has killed over 12,000 civilians, the majority of them women, elderly, and children.

Over 6000 children have been murdered by IDF. The Israel Defense Forces draw a comparison with the Ukraine war in 21 months less than 10,000 civilians have been killed by both sides, including 500 children. In 21 months, Israel is murdering now children of Gaza at the rate of 150 children every day, which means a Palestinian child is killed every ten minutes. This slaughter is committed by Israeli armed forces using American planes, bombs, missiles, and munition brought and paid for by American taxpayers.

Ever since Israeli founding in 1948, the US had a close relationship with the Jewish state. 280 billion US tax dollars have been invested since 1948, in US-Israeli ethnic cleansing and occupation operations. It is not right or correct to call it an Israel-Hamas war. It is a Palestinian holocaust. Calling it the Israel-Hamas War creates the false impression that this is a war that is directed exclusively at Hamas when it is really an ethnic cleansing that is directed at all Palestinians in Gaza. Hamas has about 30,000 fighters.

Gaza is five miles wide and 25 miles long. Israel has 170,000 troops and 465,000 reserves. The US has already sent two aircraft carriers to the Mediterranean with 10,000 sailors. The US is sending the US Army 101st Airborne Division to Jordan. Also, a rapid response force consisting of 2000 Marines has been there. The USA already has 60 to 80,000 troops stationed in the Middle East. It seems as if the United States is preparing for World War three. Jeff, give us your analysis of what’s going on in Israel-Palestine.

Jeff: Well, Dan, thank you for that wonderful introduction. It’s always a pleasure to be on your show. You’re a very informed and professional host. I’d like to go back to 1917, to the Balfour Declaration. This is when the British government sent a letter to the Rothschild family, which is the richest Jewish. It’s a Jewish family, the richest banking family in the world. Telling them that Britain gave the Rothschilds the blessing to create a Jewish state in Palestine. At that time, England, Britain controlled Palestine.

So, the Jewish lobby has actually been in existence for 106 years, going back to 1917 and the genocide began not only the Rothschilds within the Americans immediately began to provide enormous funds. I mean, there’s a number of big Jewish banking families the Stern’s, the Solomon’s, the Hirsch’s, the Sassoon’s, and many others who had literally billions of dollars to influence the United States government. And I’m talking about senators, representatives, judges, and the UK parliamentarians, the executive in both countries, et cetera.

So, the genocide actually started then. They began pushing people off their land 106 years ago with extortion, bribery just offering so much money that people foolishly, unfortunately, took it, giving them a foothold where they could then do their extortion and violence to expand their purchases, running off entire families, entire villages. So, by the time 1948 rolled around, the machinery of genocide was in full gear. And then at that point, it really accelerated where they literally started exterminating large numbers of people ethnically cleansing entire areas.

And it’s just gone more hyperbolically in the last 20 years, I don’t really consider this to be a Hamas-Israel war. I consider this to be a US war on the Arab world, just like Israel. Israel is the proxy to completely destabilize the Middle East, what is now more popularly known as West Asia because Russia and China were making so many inroads into West Asia, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf countries Abu Dhabi, etcetera, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, et cetera making huge inroads in Egypt both of them Iraq, Iran, etcetera.

So, this, in my opinion, is an all-out attempt to destroy China’s Belt and Road Initiative, destroy the inroads that Russia has made in terms of commerce and energy and infrastructure et cetera. Remember what, just a few months ago, the Chinese got Iran and Saudi Arabia to shake hands and start working together. And I think that was the straw that broke the Western imperialist back because they needed that tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Once that disappeared, obviously the most feared country in for Western empire was Iran.

If anybody attacks them, they will regret it. So, it’s just a gigantic you know, the United States is occupying Syria, bombing Syria, stealing oil. The United States occupies Iraq. The United States has troops in every one of the Gulf countries. And of course, Iran is working with the Houthis who are trying to get independence for Yemen, away from Saudi Arabia. Iran is also, of course, helping Iraq and Syria. And of course, Iran is hugely helping Hezbollah, which is the only thing keeping Lebanon from being absorbed by Israel’s genocidal expansion.

And as you say, the Americans are already there. I just saw an article that there are now already special forces, US special forces in Gaza, as you said, Air Force, Navy, et cetera. So, it is an American. It is a NATO. It is a NATO War on the Middle East. I would also like to point out that for many Israelis what is happening in Gaza and what has been happening since 1917 is legally permitted by their holy book, the Torah, because in the Torah, non-Jews are called goyim, and that includes you and me.

And that includes all Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, animists all the other religions in the world, all the other races in the world are not human. And it says very clearly in the Torah that they are not human, that they are subhuman and do not deserve to live. And the Torah authorizes the chosen people, which is the Jews, to take everyone, enslave them, exterminate them, and take their land, et cetera. And there are actually a number of quotes in the last couple of weeks of high-level Israeli government officials saying the Palestinians are not human.

They do not deserve to live. They’re worse than dogs, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. But this is all perfectly legal in the eyes of Israel because the Jewish Torah authorizes it. And, of course, a lot of those passages ended up in the Old Testament in Christianity in large part the Torah. And people say, oh, well, don’t read those parts about extermination and stealing land and genocide. Don’t read those parts, just read the other parts. But the problem is, is that Western leaders do read those parts and they take them to heart and they act on them.

And there are Christian Zionists, there’s a whole Christian Zionist movement in the United States supporting Israel. And again, they go back to the Old Testament saying Israel deserves to take over Syria, Jordan, Sinai in Egypt, et cetera, because it is all part of the biblical prediction for a greater Israel. So, it’s unfortunate that people have not paid attention since 1917. But now people are aware of it, and all that France and other countries can do is try to outlaw people flying Palestinian flags, wearing Palestinian pens, or saying anything negative.

You can go to jail in France for saying anything, criticizing Israel. You can go to jail and be fined thousands of euros for just saying you don’t like Israel. So, this is where we’re at. And Dan said before the show, you know that he doesn’t believe all the Western propaganda about how well they’re doing in Gaza. And I hope that’s true because if Israel is able to get away with this, it’s almost like saying, well it would be saying, well if Hitler was able to get away with what he was trying to do, it’d be the same thing. There is no difference.

We are speaking with author, journalist, and political analyst Jeff J. Brown. I know you have covered some of these in your answer some of these issues, but let me bring up another aspect of this. I mean, just a few months ago, we were talking about whether the US can fight both Russia in Ukraine and China in Taiwan at the same time. Now we have a third front in the Middle East. As you pointed out, Iran is a big player there. So now we are talking about the US on three fronts. Give me just your answer. Is the US capable of fighting on all three fronts?

Jeff: It’s pretty obvious with what’s going on in the US Congress. Ukraine is out now. They’re not going to fund it anymore. Germany and France are not going to fund. In England, I mean, they’re going to send some token amounts. But clearly, Zelinsky’s days are probably numbered. And NATO has thrown in the towel on Ukraine. Once Russia takes over and they’re just about to do it. There’s a heavily the most heavily fortified city in Europe, Avdic or something like that (note: Avdiivka). Once that falls, then Russia really has no more opposition.

So, it’s really rapidly going down again using Israel as a proxy to destabilize and destroy the Arab world. And let’s face it, it’s the Muslim world. So, it’s also a huge sword in the hearts of the Muslim people around the world. And right now, all they’re doing in China is doing all these flybys and sail-bys. It would be even worse for the United States and NATO to try to go to war with China because Europe was right there to provide the arms readily just drive them across and train them across the border into Ukraine.

The United States can only bring in so much advanced material into Japan, South Korea and maybe even Taiwan but the supply line from Los Angeles and Seattle is 11,000km. A J-21 fighter jet in China can barely get off the runway, and it’s already over Taiwan. It’s only 120 or 130km away. So, China does not have to go to Los Angeles Seattle, and Hawaii to fight the United States. It just has to defend Taiwan. It’s the United States using Japan and South Korea that would try to defend Taiwan.

I don’t think it would last more than a week. The Chinese military is almost as strong as Russia’s. It’s stronger than the United States. Its navy is bigger. It’s got thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of aircraft carriers killer missiles to destroy the destroyers. The entire US Navy could be wiped out in 2 or 3 days in the South China Sea. So, this is delusional thinking. They thought Russia was going to collapse in two weeks and now it’s got a bigger economy than Germany. It’s now surpassed Germany as the world’s fifth-largest economy.

So, these are just psychopaths who are in power in the West and they are delusional. They’re megalomaniacs. And it didn’t work for Russia. I’ve got my fingers crossed it’s not going to work using Israel as a proxy. And because of course, Hezbollah has not even really gotten into it yet. And it’s much, much more powerful than Hamas. And if the US tries to go after China, God help those poor American soldiers on all those ships because they’re not going to be alive in a few hours after war is declared.

Dan: Hey, all these things that we are talking about, see, we’re looking at the Ukraine war and the coups in Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea in the last couple of years against France as neocolonialism and now Hamas uprising. All of these events are pointing toward the end of 600 years of Western European-American imperialism. In Ukraine, Russia has shown, as you pointed out, that it can face both US and NATO by itself in a war of attrition.

Also, we learned that the Global South, which is 80% of the world population does not support US sanctions on Russia. Israel is a European colonial settler state, as you had described very well earlier. The last bastion of Western European American imperialism, it is supported by the same 15% of the Imperial West, and opposed by the 85% of the Global South with the exception of India. Give us this geopolitical shift that’s taking place. Where are we headed?

Jeff: Well, you’re exactly right, Dan. I mean, we are watching the fall of the Western Empire. Although it might hurt us economically with hyperinflation, et cetera when the dollar crashes, you and I would like for it to have happened yesterday. But the fact of the matter is, is that empires have had an uncanny ability to hang on for a long time. You remember the Western Roman Empire collapsed in 412 or 413AD or whatever it was but the Eastern Roman Empire did not collapse until the Ottoman Empire and the Germans overtook it in the early 1500s.

So, they can really, really, really, really hang on for a long time. And so, but it is happening very fast. The Achilles heel for the Western world is the US dollar and the euro and their ability to print literally football fields of euros and dollars every second of every day, going back years and with no apparent repercussions. Although Moody’s just downgraded the United States from neutral to negative rating, because now the debt in the United States is over $30 trillion officially.

But it’s actually a lot more than that with student debt credit card debt mortgage debt and personal debt and it’s many trillions more than that. So that would cause the whole house of genocidal cards to collapse and would be a run on the dollar. And that could happen pretty fast. And it could happen, I think, in our lifetimes. And that would cause everything else to just completely fall apart.

Dan: Yes, you are right. I know there is so much stuff that you have to talk about and discuss, and I’ve watched your programs very regularly. And one of the things that you can take. We have four minutes or three, four minutes or so to talk about like right now we are watching as we have both enunciated the real genocide that’s taking place. Which we are told, or they assume that nobody is going to witness, but it is going on. So, I want you to compare that with the fake genocide that has been over-propagandized by the US, especially in Xinjiang. And tell us a little bit about that compared to, yeah, what’s happening in.

Jeff: The supposed genocide where I didn’t quite understand that.

Dan: Xinjiang.

Jeff: Xinjiang. Oh, my gosh, every Muslim country has been to Xinjiang. Hundreds and hundreds of Muslim clerics, politicians, and diplomats have been all over Xinjiang. It is an absolute lie. I even just published a paper about where the US embassy even admitted that it was a lie in a private meeting with businessmen in Guangzhou. Everybody knows it’s a lie. In the internal cables on Wikileaks, the US embassy said they knew it was a lie.

It’s a gigantic propagandized lie, just like Tiananmen Square. The supposed massacre was a propagandized lie. It’s not true. And it’s just a way to try to hurt China, hurt China’s commerce. And it’s just it’s amazing that it works. And in fact, my next trip, my next trip or two to China, I hope to go back to Xinjiang, where I’ve been to see for myself. But it is rapidly growing. It’s prosperous.

Everybody that’s been there, all these Muslim countries that have visited there, are just incredibly impressed with what’s going on there. And the people are happy. The people are making money. It has twice the growth rate that the rest of China has, as does Tibet. So, these outlying provinces are doing extremely well in spite of all the just lies that these NGOs, George Soros, and all these others are perpetrating. But the problem is our mainstream media just regurgitates everything that they’re told.
