Danny chats with former British diplomat Alastair Crooke, an expert in Mideast affairs, and geopolitical blogger, on the prospects for peace and justice for the long tormented Palestinians. His conclusion is that Israelis and Palestinians are both locked in a long-term revolutionary struggle with mutually exclusive goals, the Israelis committed to build a biblical "Greater Israel" at the expense of all Arabs, and the Palestinians sworn to create an independent state in the old lands of Palestine, currently occupied by transplanted settler colonialist Jews. Crooke sees no short-term resolution to this conflict, unless the greater powers intervene, which could precipitate WW3. As things stand, the US is the only major power capable of pushing the extremist Zionists in power toward some compromise with the Palestinian resistance without detonating Armageddon. Either way, Crooke believes Israel's very existence is now being decided.
