The Whys and Wherefores of "Diversity"
If you have wondered why all of a sudden TV audiences are being flooded with commercials that improbably include every race under the sun and every hue, gender, sexual orientation, and color that nature created, but rarely whites, or straight couples, Garland Nixon has the answer: it's all a cynical ploy by the US ruling class to sell the utterly ridiculous idea that the American empire has already built a totally (and absurdly) sexually liberated, multi-racially harmonious and happily integrated society, in which tolerance and human rights have achieved their maximum expression. The ultimate object is to deflate social pressure at home by offering ridiculously empty symbols, while building a tool with which to coerce other nations into doing Washington's bidding in the name of human rights. It's a fraudulent and typically hypocritical propaganda campaign anchored in WOKE values, created to fortify identity politics at the expense of economic and class struggle mobilizations. —PG
