The equilibrium of world power is a delicate balance, which weighs that of large continents against each other. This is like a compass that while spinning remains stable, but the slightest tremor and the whole edifice breaks into shards. The question of Iran, its oil and power lie in the hands of China and Rusia (China because much of its energy=oil comes from Iran).
