So, A. Martin expects the owners of Democracy to enact change, because … the masses will force them to. I think they would do a-ny-thing but that (enact change). Tellingly, A. Martin complains that … public opinion would be much different if only the media had been honest! (Around 11:00 – 13:00, I think.) Poor masses, depending so much on … JOURNALISM! You are drowning in sarcasm but offer no solutions of any kind, only a vague criticism of the (admittedly) indoctrinating, highly deficient educational system. But you forget indoctrination—the real problem here—comes to Americans and other Westerners from many sources. Schools are only one. In sum, you act like a troll.. It’s getting tedious and transparent. Change your tune at least.
The moral indignation of Martin, Galloway and others is admirable, but it will not bring about the change that they are hoping for. Even the masses of young and other people who demonstrate against the massacres in Gaza will remain ineffectual. Emotional resistance is a fine coming to awareness, but it cannot destroy the harshness of the bonds that hold the Western status quo together.
