Interesting and both are correct. But a revolution in the European sense is ‘un- American’. What may happen is what the US never really experienced is general strikes, pockets of resistance as a refusal to work within the corporate bondage. The present revolt of the college kids against Israel’s actions, ignominiously called antisemitism (an insult to morality) may well be a forerunner of a refusal to submit to the present status quo. Trump purposefully or not is an iconoclast, but the all-powerful establishment may in the end totally crack him. Will the 78 million or so that voted for him accept… Read more »
