With its often insufferably priggish, self-satisfied tone, CBS Sunday is clearly designed as a tool to comfort and please the PMCs in the US and the "Western world", the folks who, aside from the billionaires who really run and own the show, clearly benefit from the criminally hypocritical status quo.

For those ensconced under a rock, the "PMCs" are the professional-managerial class, the upper middle class folks operating the vital machinery of the US global empire, most particularly the MICIMATT, Ray McGovern's apt term for the Military-Industrial-Congressional-Intelligence- Media-Academia-Think-Tank complex, doubtless the most evil aggregation of humans in modern history.

The plug offered this morning to elevate genocidist Biden, once again, to eminent statehood, a preposterous proposition by any rational measure, reminds us of the epic cringe tongue-bath executed a few years back by sell-out Stephen Colbert upon his audience with Barack Obama, yes, He Who Walketh on Water.  "Let me breathe you in," was one of the typically repugnant adulations this courtier threw at the exalted personage. So this vile exhibition has precedent, in fact a multitude of precedents, for the role of Big Media has long been to keep us confused, divided, asleep, and above all massively ignorant, until the whole rotten outfit sinks beneath the waves or becomes nuclear ash, to the perdition of countless innocents who put their trust in American democracy.
