In his zeal to prove to his antagonists in the War Party that he is as bloodthirsty as their champion, Hillary Clinton, and more manly than Barack Obama, Trump seems to have gone “play-crazy” -- acting like an unpredictable maniac in order to terrorize the Russians into forcing some kind of dramatic concessions from their Syrian allies, or risk Armageddon.However, the “play-crazy” gambit can only work when the leader is, in real life, a disciplined and intelligent actor, who knows precisely what actual boundaries must not be crossed. That ain’t Donald Trump -- a pitifully shallow and ill-disciplined man, emotionally handicapped by obscene privilege and cognitively crippled by white American chauvinism. What is the point of this article exactly? I certainly hope it isn’t suggesting that powerful people (whether man, woman, or those free of such restrictive labels) don’t exploit, harass or sexually abuse people. With all the MeToo mob-rule hysteria, it is popular to imply that only men are capable of abuse – but the reality is very different. I don’t think he’s doing that at all. He agrees with you that this issues—a serious one—has been hijacked and deformed by the bourgeois feminists you allude to, and thereby trivialised in terms of the broader more urgent issues afflicting women and.or anyone in a lopsided power relationship, especially when livelihood itself is at stake.
