Most people in the West never heard of the remarkable Aleksandr Zakharchenko, and that is not accidental.

The Donbass media did not have to whip up an artificial frenzy over the passing of Donetsk Republic president Aleksandr Zakharchenko, as he was genuinely loved. Grieving multitudes attended his funeral.

I wonder why this sad and poignant event (the funeral of Aleksandr, War Hero and Leader of Donbass) got practically zero coverage in the Bent West over the Weekend ? Mourners queued up for kilometres to pay their last respects to slain former leader of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko in Donetsk, on Sunday. According to preliminary calculations by the Donetsk Administration, more than 120,000 people joined the memorial ceremony, which took place at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
