The video is excellent as a deconstruction of the Jack Ryan series as blatant CIA propaganda. Tom Secker’s book on the routine collaboration between Hollywood and television and the CIA & U.S. military is also quite excellent. If you’ve ever wondered why so much of what comes out of Hollywood and TV seems to glorify war and militarism, well, there is plenty of documentation to show just how this propaganda system operates in and through the so called “entertainment industry.”
