Time magazine Man of the Year Zelensky: an assessment by Danny Haiphong

As a well-compensated puppet of the West, V. Zelensky, an actor, and comedian with excellent skills but no principles is the perfect foil to dispense p.r. BS about the realities of Ukraine 24/7. Few people know the sheer dimensions of the Western disinformation machine dedicated to advancing the Ukraine war project. By some estimates, as such things are usually kept secret, no less than 200 pr outfits are engaged in providing mendacity support for the war (in addition to the regular press and DoD internal assets), and this, perforce, must include denials and obfuscations about the true nature of Kiev's "exemplary democracy"—demonstrably a neonazi dominated regime that has long banned and fascistically persecuted and intimidated the democratic opposition—parties, media and activists—in many cases outright murdering them. Let us recall that Kiev, following NATO instructions and relying on their support, engaged in an illegitimate war against the Donbas since 2014, a war that has cost the Donbas no less than 15,000 victims. This is government terrorism by any standard, and this is precisely what finally triggered the Russian intervention. Thus to present Zelensky as a world example of democratic virtue is not only a despicable exercise in deception, but proof conclusive of the depravity of the Western establishment and all its significant instruments, including of course its media. What TIME magazine is doing here is simply propping up the fake rationales for the Western continuation of the war in Ukraine and beyond. A war that is of course not just extremely dangerous, but highly profitable to many elites connected to the MIC, and which naturally agrees perfectly with the longstanding US imperialist agenda for world hegemony, currently seeking the conquest and destruction of Russia, China and any other truly independent nation.—PG
