Expert and outspoken witnesses explain the complete moral collapse of Israel and its main sponsor and protector, the United States, as they engage in a vicious war against Arab populations across the region. Israel's moral decomposition is now confirmed by its ghastly genocide of Palestinians, many women and children and other non-combatants; its systematic and hypocritical murder of medical personnel and journalists in Palestine, and its use of other long prohibited practices in wars, such as the use of hunger, thirst, and disease to attain its goals. This ends up proving the Zionist project's long-denied sadistic nature and pursuit of ethnic cleansing, which in turn certifies Israel's Apartheid nature. Germany is also singled out for criticism for its Neoliberal/Neocon posture and its hypocrisy in regard to Israel, which it seeks to enforce via dictatorial measures such as censorship and judicial penalties. Germany is not alone in this, as most of the EU, currently ruled by US-controlled satraps, follow the same playbook, although at present Berlin may be the most extreme case.

The pretense is that the US is against an expansion of the war in the region, and has no real power to restrain Israel, a fully supported and controlled colony of the Empire.

More than eight months into this genocide (now a full year), Israel is losing the war between its army and the resistance on the ground. Israel’s own economy is in shambles, as more and more Israelis leave abroad for good and as its high-tech sector collapses. “I think that what we’re seeing is, first of all, that this Israeli military doctrine has flown out the window,” political economist Shir Hever tells us on The Electronic Intifada Podcast. “There is no doctrine right now – what we have is a collapse of Israeli society. It is a social collapse. It’s also psychological collapse, [and] it has to do with the fact that Israelis have lost connection with reality,” he adds. Hever is the military embargo coordinator for the Palestinian Boycott Divestment and Sanctions National Committee (BNC) and works on its #ShutDownNation campaign. Hever, who lives in Germany, is the author of The Privatization of Israeli Security and The Political Economy of Israel’s Occupation.
