The assassination of a Hezbollah division general by Israel (a common tactic of the Zionist entity) has prompted a redoubling of Hezbollah attacks on Israeli targets to demonstrate that such cowardly blows will have no effect on Hezbollah's mission. The attacks by Hezbollah on Northern Palestine comprised even larger swarms of drones and missiles, aiming their weapons at key targets such an Israeli facility tasked with building armor for tanks and APCs. Hezbollah's systematic attacks on Israel Iron Dome and other AD shields have "blinded" the IDF, making their assaults far less effective.

Speaking about the Israeli economy, Laith points out that Israel doesn't have a real economy, since, without the West's governments prodding and guarantees to businesses, most corporations would be loath to build important facilities in what is essentially an unstable war zone. He also notes that the Houthis (Ansar Allah) have changed the balance of power between sea and land powers, restoring the strategic primacy of land-based militaries. Since WW2, the US Navy rarely had to contend with threats to its fleets, but the Houthis have conclusively demonstrated how the arrival of new war technologies such as drones, rockets and missiles have forced a dramatic change in the tactical and strategic capabilities of even a major superpower such as the US. (These changes have also affected the Russian and Chinese militaries—primarily but not exclusively land-based powers) but they seem to have adapted more quickly to the implications of such developments. In the case of Iran, this nation realised long ago that it could not compete in terms of advanced navies and aviation, so it concentrated its resources on drones and missiles, making Iran one of the world's leaders in this technology).

The bottom line is that in every field—economic, political, cultural, military, scientific, financial—the US-led imperialist West is being surpassed by the Eurasian powers. The only field where it retains some degree of supremacy is infotainment, the modern hybrid of media and nonstop propaganda. But even in that field, the Western media are losing ground, as the younger generation moves away from the depraved legacy media to follow alternative voices.

Garland talks to Dmitry Zolotarov. a man who lived through the implosion of the Soviet Union under the US-supported Yeltsin regime in the 1990s, the ensuing chaos and poverty, and the literal rebirth of Russia under Putin. Zolotarev also remembers (with great affection) life in the Soviet Union, a nation horrendously slandered and maliciously caricatured by Western propaganda. Russia is still basically still buried under a mountain of lies, and it is these lies that allow the US and its EU accomplices to embark on Washington's reckless effort to maintain world domination, a goal no longer possible since the emergence of Russia and China as great sovereign military powers in their own right.

The main lesson of Covid, says Garland, is never trust the Government. Do your own research, do your thinking before adopting any position. Why should we trust a government, a ruling elite, that has committed enormous crimes in practically all continents and continues to do so, while lying through their teeth? Why should the American people think that a depraved ruling class that has engaged in many wars of choice, regime changes and so on, and is even now actively plotting more, causing incalculable suffering around the globe, all for self-enrichment, not the highfalutin ideals like "freedom" or "democracy" or "human rights" they always told the people, is going to suddenly become good and virtuous in their behaviour toward the American people? Why should a plutocracy, a bunch of billionaires with no real national attachment to any country, who follow nothing but the pursuit of wealth, be trusted with most of the major decisions in our lives? The Covid timeline alone should have alerted us, adds, Garland. But apparently it didn't.

Garland discusses the unusual reply given by Russia to the US and its vassals' latest provocation. Moscow has made clear that the pretense it is Ukraine that is using the advanced weapons supplied by the West to attack deep inside Russia and not NATO directly is dismissed by Russia, and that it will take the requisite measures to stop these assaults and teach the West a lasting lesson. Garland also discards the idea being floated by the NATO alliance of invading Russia with a 300,000 army, as idiotic and fanciful at best. For one thing, notes Garland, Russia's standoff weapons will make sure that no such army can mass on its borders. Not to mention that the European people will rise as one if they realise they are being dragged into a war they cannot possibly win or survive.
