Garland and Libertarian party president Angela McArdle discuss what needs to be done to inject honesty, sanity and true democracy in America's political life, currently completely eviscerated by the oligarchy's power and the sordid work of their flunkies in the political class and a multitude of "national security" agencies—from the FBI to the CIA, the NSA, Homeland Security, etc.—all actually created to protect the 0.001% from popular power, and operating in far too many cases against the Constitution. As has been proved on a variety of occasions, and most recently confirmed by two impeccable social scientists, the US is NOT a democracy. Accordingly, given the gravity of the situation, and with a nuclear WW3 looming in the immediate horizon, Garland and Angela conclude that the salvation of the country resides in getting rid of institutions and organisations that impede authentic citizen inputs, such as the FBI, CIA, DHS, NSA, the MIC, and other forms of fascistic citizen surveillance, exploitation, and control, not to mention the corrupt and useless "uniparty".  

They also propose the elimination of warmongering NATO, a tool of US imperialistic dominance, the immediate release of Julian Assange, and the termination of all types of US meddling abroad, especially proxy wars as in Ukraine, and regime change operations. Lastly, the de facto merging of corporate and governmental power must stop, as we have seen in numerous cases of government agencies captured by private interests. Indeed, the Covid emergency showed us that key public agencies such as the CDC, FDA and NIH had been taken over by Big Pharma. Cleaning this level of corruption and defeating its guardians is a huge undertaking, but without overcoming the Deep State, and Big Money, the prospects for Americans and the rest of the world are extremely dim. Only a citizen alliance of patriots has a chance.

Who runs Hollywood? C’mon

A mainstream Hollywood product: The director, the producer, the writers, and half of the cast (including Conrad Veidt, who played a Nazi) were Jewish.

I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe “the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews,” down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.

How deeply Jewish is Hollywood? When the studio chiefs took out a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times a few weeks ago to demand that the Screen Actors Guild settle its contract, the open letter was signed by: News Corp. President Peter Chernin (Jewish), Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey (Jewish), Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger (Jewish), Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton (surprise, Dutch Jew), Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer (Jewish), CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves (so Jewish his great uncle was the first prime minister of Israel), MGM Chairman Harry Sloan (Jewish) and NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker (mega-Jewish). If either of the Weinstein brothers had signed, this group would have not only the power to shut down all film production but to form a minyan with enough Fiji water on hand to fill a mikvah.

The person they were yelling at in that ad was SAG President Alan Rosenberg (take a guess). The scathing rebuttal to the ad was written by entertainment super-agent Ari Emanuel (Jew with Israeli parents) on the Huffington Post, which is owned by Arianna Huffington (not Jewish and has never worked in Hollywood.)

In the Producers (1967), Mel Brooks' irreverent sendup of Jews, Nazi Germany, and Broadway, the director, the main cast, the producer, etc., were all Jewish. Including (again) the guy who played the Nazi, Kenneth Mars. (Wonderfully).

The Jews are so dominant, I had to scour the trades to come up with six Gentiles in high positions at entertainment companies. When I called them to talk about their incredible advancement, five of them refused to talk to me, apparently out of fear of insulting Jews. The sixth, AMC President Charlie Collier, turned out to be Jewish.

As a proud Jew, I want America to know about our accomplishment. Yes, we control Hollywood. Without us, you’d be flipping between “The 700 Club” and “Davey and Goliath” on TV all day.

I called ADL Chairman Abe Foxman, who was in Santiago, Chile, where, he told me to my dismay, he was not hunting Nazis. He dismissed my whole proposition, saying that the number of people who think Jews run Hollywood is still too high. The ADL poll, he pointed out, showed that 59% of Americans think Hollywood execs “do not share the religious and moral values of most Americans,” and 43% think the entertainment industry is waging an organized campaign to “weaken the influence of religious values in this country.”

That’s a sinister canard, Foxman said. “It means they think Jews meet at Canter’s Deli on Friday mornings to decide what’s best for the Jews.” Foxman’s argument made me rethink: I have to eat at Canter’s more often.

“That’s a very dangerous phrase, ‘Jews control Hollywood.’ What is true is that there are a lot of Jews in Hollywood,” he said. Instead of “control,” Foxman would prefer people say that many executives in the industry “happen to be Jewish,” as in “all eight major film studios are run by men who happen to be Jewish.”

But Foxman said he is proud of the accomplishments of American Jews. “I think Jews are disproportionately represented in the creative industry. They’re disproportionate as lawyers and probably medicine here as well,” he said. He argues that this does not mean that Jews make pro-Jewish movies any more than they do pro-Jewish surgery. Though other countries, I’ve noticed, aren’t so big on circumcision.

I appreciate Foxman’s concerns. And maybe my life spent in a New Jersey-New York/Bay Area-L.A. pro-Semitic cocoon has left me naive. But I don’t care if Americans think we’re running the news media, Hollywood, Wall Street or the government. I just care that we get to keep running them.

My correspondence with my Representative in the U.S. Congress regarding the Trump-Biden prosecution-persecution of Julian Assange

I recently wrote to my member of the U.S. House of Representatives asking the Representative why that person’s name was not included among the 16 members of Congress from both Parties who had signed a letter to Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, and Antony Blinken, urging the U.S. to cease-and-desist its attempts over many years to get Julian Assange extradicted to the U.S. to face possibly up to 175 years of imprisonment after he has already spent over ten years in prisons in Britain and yet never been convicted, nor even charged, for any alleged crime. I also asked why was that person’s name not among the 8 who had co-sponsored the current H.Res.934, which argues for the same purpose, and I asked “whether you will vote in favor of it when it comes up for a House vote.”

I received a reply on January 9th, which said:

Thank you for reaching out to me regarding your concern over the prosecution of Julian Assange. Freedom of the press is a crucial pillar of our democracy. I appreciate hearing from you on this issue.

Julian Assange is the founder of the website Wikileaks. In 2010, Wikileaks published hundreds of thousands of documents related to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The United States has indicted Assange, alleging that he committed one count of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion in violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. The indictment alleges that, in March 2010, Assange agreed to assist in "cracking" a password stored on Department of Defense computers to access classified records. Should any legislation related to the prosecution of Assange come before the House of Representatives, I will keep your thoughts in mind.

A free and vibrant press is a necessary safeguard against the erosion of democracy. As your congresswoman, I am committed to protecting the rights of journalists.

I replied:

You are a psychopath, and you think that that’s okay. Assange has been in various forms of imprisonment continuously for over ten years now and not convicted nor even been tried on any criminal charge, and yet you want him to be brought into the U.S. dictatorship to face such charges now as you have just described, for which ten years straight of imprisonment isn’t ALREADY way more than enough to satisfy yourself and your paymasters (Lockheed Martin or whatever — or what then IS your vile and psychopathic motivation in persecuting the world’s greatest champion for democracy and for freedom of the press, and opponent of imperialism and of coups and of other dictatorial stratagems of oppression)?

MANY ANIMALS HAVE BEEN LEFT TO WANDER THE RUBBLE AS FIGHTING PREVENTS THEM BEING RESCUED

Cats, dogs and other animals in Gaza are starving to death as Israel is preventing food and medicine from crossing the border, rescue volunteers have said.

Sulala Society for Animal Care is the only official rescue organisation in the territory and it is close to running out of supplies. Hundreds of animals have already died of starvation while Sulala has only two bags of food left for the 120 cats and 30 dogs under its care, volunteers said.

Heavy fighting is preventing them from saving other animals while volunteers on the Israeli side of the border are not allowed to cross over and help out.

Many Palestinians have had to abandon their animals while fleeing the conflict, with some having to leave pets at the Egyptian border as the animals are not allowed to cross over. There is now so little food left in Gaza that animals and people can no longer find it in rubbish bins, volunteers said.

Annelies Keuleers, a Sulala English language spokesperson, said the organisation’s founder Saeed Al Err was forced to leave hundreds of dogs in a shelter with the doors open and some food before evacuating south and has been unable to reach them since. 

Speaking from outside Gaza, she said: “The biggest issue right now is food. In the beginning of the war, the first days, Saeed bought a huge amount of food, everything he could find, but it’s now running out.

“In the beginning of the war, they picked up the disabled dogs because they knew they wouldn’t be able to survive on the streets and now they’re in a temporary shelter.

 “They’re looking for a more permanent place to move south, but they have to take all the animals with them.

“It’s really challenging and stressful and especially for them, not knowing how many more times they will have to move and refusing to go without the animals.”

Sulala is part of an international group of animal rescue organisations that are calling on the Israeli government to allow animal food and medicine into Gaza.

Many people have been struggling to feed themselves since Israel began its blockade late last year and while some aid for people is now crossing over in trucks, animal food is not.

In Defence of Animals, an American animal welfare campaign group, has published an open letter to the Israeli Knesset and members of the war cabinet urging them to allow rescuers to help the animals.

Volunteers also want to access chicken farms that have been destroyed by missiles along the northern border.

Yael Gabay, one of the signatories and founder of Israel’s Freedom for Animals, said her organisation rescued a lot of turkeys, chickens, cats and dogs early in the war but her volunteers are now no longer allowed into Gaza. 

She wants the Israeli military to allow her to take food into the Strip and to accompany her while she rescues abandoned animals from the warzone.

She told the PA news agency: “We really feel that there’s an opportunity to rescue so many other animals now in Gaza and also on the northern borders.

“We wish that the Israeli government would give us an opportunity to do that. And to provide food.”

Israeli soldiers have been giving water to some of the wandering animals and bringing some back in their tanks, she added, although they are prohibited from doing so.

One member of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, said she is “very sceptical” that the authorities will take animal lives in war zones seriously.

Politician Yasmin Sacks Friedman has been pushing the Israeli government to support the animals and the volunteers trying to rescue them.

She said: “My life’s mission is to improve the state of the animals in Israel, and for two-and-a-half years in the Knesset, the ministry of agriculture has not been co-operative on improving the state of the animals inside the country.

“Like everything else relating to the treatment and rescue of animals in the past, at the end, the care and rescue is done exclusively by animal loving volunteers and activists, and this should not happen!”

Huge March On Washington Against the Israel-U.S. Genocide of Gazans Planned for This Saturday, Jan. 13

The American people donate in our taxes annually to Israel’s Government $3.3 billion for Israel to buy U.S.-made weapons and ammunition, and an additional $.5 billion for U.S. military intelligence assistance and other maintenance of Israel's Government, and so have been supplying to Israel virtually all of the planes and missiles and bombs and bullets and ongoing intelligence assistance that that Government is now using in order to bomb and otherwise destroy the schools and hospitals and refugee camps and the residential neighborhoods in Gaza, so as to exterminate the Gazan people. In addition, Israel’s Government has for over 15 years maintained, and continues, a siege against Gaza to prohibit the residents from leaving, and to keep to a bare minimum the amounts of food and medicine and other essential supplies that sustain human and other animal life there. This combined bombardment and siege is now killing the Gazans both directly via the bombinjg and indirectly now by starving them to death, so that what now is happening in Gaza is the biggest genocide ever since in the 1941-1945 period Hitler’s Germany exterminated Jews not only in Germany but everywhere in the lands that it was conquering during World War II.

Israel’s Government has made clear that if anything will be done to halt its genocide against Gazans, Israel will forcibly expel from Gaza to some foreign land(s) any who have survived, so that what now is a genocide will become instead merely an ethnic cleansing of them, to clear that land for Jews to settle there. The U.S. White House has been trying to assist that effort.

America’s President Joe Biden has not only continued to supply to Israel’s Government even more weapons and ammunition and military intelligence assistance in order to continue this genocide, and refused to place any conditions upon Israel’s usage of this equipment and assistance, but has requested from Congress an additional $14 billion donation to that Government for added weapons and ammunition on an emergency basis — above and beyond the usual $3.8 billion in annual U.S. donations to that Government.

The U.S. Government [along with the UK) is the only one in the entire world that is participating with Israel in perpetrating this genocide — Israel supplying the troops and America supplying the weapons and ammunition and intelligence-assistance. Furthermore, the U.S. Government supplies at the United Nations the only veto at the Security Council to block proposed measures to condemn and/or limit this genocide, and also supplies sometimes the only vote against proposed Resolutions by the General Assembly against this genocide.

Furthermore, Israel’s Jewish News Service reported on November 27th that Israel's retired Maj. General Yitzhak Brick in an interview earlier in the week, said that, “All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision-guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it’s all from the U.S. The minute they turn off the tap, you can’t keep fighting. You have no capability. … Everyone understands that we can’t fight this war without the United States. Period.”

So: U.S. President Joe Biden has refused to place any conditions upon Israel’s Government regarding that Government’s usage of this equipment and intelligence assistance to carry out this genocide, and he and Netanyahu of Israel are therefore jointly responsible for this genocide.
