He lets Netanyahu overvalue the hostages’ lives over those of long-suffering Palestinians. This simulacrum of an interview passes for an act of brave journalism on his resume.

GARLAND NIXON—Garland attends the Washington DC Nov 4 pro-Palestine demonstration and is amazed and encouraged by its magnitude, in the hundreds of thousands, unexpected by some given the the fact the organisers had little time to make it happen. The US imperialist ruling class, and its world accomplices and tools, such as the US Democrat party and Western media, are likely to find a much tougher terrain henceforth when spouting lies to cover their crimes, say Garland. The carefully maintained mask has fallen off, and masses of people, especially the younger generations, are not likely to buy into the myth of US exceptionalism. As for Israel, NOT a real country, but an imperial strategic outpost in the Middle East, its days are numbered, says Garland. Its depravity has been laid bare, and no amount of propaganda will erase the images of Gaza being genocided in cold blood.

EDITOR—The Wiki forgets to mention that Jean Pierre, besides being an overqualified WOKE specimen given her racial and LGBTQ creds, is also an accomplished red-baiter. This makes Jean Pierre something of a traitor to the political faith of her parents, reputedly members of Haiti’s Lavalas party. For those with no knowledge of Lavalas, or the alarmingly tragic political history of Haiti, all of it underwritten by French and later US imperialism, suffice it to say that Lavalas was led by the genuinely progressive Jean-Bertrand Aristide, a socialist / liberation theology priest who in 1990 became the first democratically-elected president of Haiti.

EDITOR—Content like this, featuring images of terrible suffering by Palestinians in the latest clash between Gaza and Israel highlights the shameless hypocrisy of the West as it applies selective empathy to the media coverage assigned to this immense tragedy. We don’t see ppl crying on the mainstream media when it’s Palestinians. We don’t see Dana Bash, Anderson Cooper and their ilk tearing up over these images. What we do see is how effectively they bury such material.
