MATT SCULLY—A nonprofit called the White Coat Waste Project is devoted to investigating the precise uses of federal money in animal experimentation, making heavy use of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to unearth evidence of both profligacy and cruelty. In July, the group zeroed in on research that might have been authorized by Dr. Anthony Fauci, and in October publicized some of the disturbing details.

NARP—The fatalities of tens of millions of animals on our nation’s roads need to be addressed full-throttle by an NGO dedicated to mitigating this carnage. While a few organizations, on occasion, embark upon this need on a local level, none have as their mission to ameliorate the roadkill issue.

GLENN GREENWALD—In general, as this controversy has unfolded, media outlets have expressed almost no interest in the immorality and atrocities of these taxpayer-funded dog experimentations, and instead have acted as political activists with only one goal: protect Dr. Fauci. PolitiFact, for instance, purported to fact-check White Coat’s campaign (laughably calling them “a conservative watchdog group”) by implying they were lying. Aside from citing (but not verifying) NIAID’s denial that they funded one of the experiments, they acknowledged that they did indeed fund others, but then pointed out that nobody could prove that Fauci personally approved the funding for these experiments.

VIRGINIA BELL—Animal agriculture produces carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and black carbon. Methane is up to 80 times more potent a greenhouse gas than CO2, and nitrous oxide is up to 300 times more potent, plus nitrous oxide degrades the ozone layer. BUT they have a much shorter lifespan than CO2, so reducing them would bring a fast significant impact on global warming. Because methane degrades into the less harmful CO2 after about 10-12 years, the IPCC has badly underestimated the impact of methane by using a timeframe of 100 years in its calculations, thereby seriously diluting the global warming damage that methane does each year compared to CO2.
