ANTI-NEOLIBERALISM

PAUL EDWARDS—Nothing can save this nation because it has ceased to be a nation.  A nation is a political entity that represents and defends the interests of a people.  America, in contrast, is dirty Capitalism embodied.  It is an enormous machine whose only purpose is to grind out profit for its owners, the vacuous billionaire coven.

It has no ideal, no ethic or principle, and so, no animating spirit at its core.  If it ever had, beyond lust for money and the power to get it, that spirit has burned out in the bonfire of those vaunted, never implemented, virtues that were its best-selling points.

ROGER D. HARRIS—This election is taking place in the context of US unilateral coercive measures. These so-called sanctions have amounted to an actual economic and financial blockade designed to cripple the economy and cause the people to renounce their government. Such outside interference by Washington is tantamount to electoral blackmail.

Yet Carlos Ron, Venezuela’s deputy minister of foreign affairs for North America, is confident that the government party will win. He spoke on June 25 at a webinar organized by the Venezuela Solidarity Network.

SPENGLER—What is the agenda that the voters of the West have repudiated? America’s elite set out to remake the world according to its own imaginings after the fall of Communism in 1990 and had sufficient power to frog-march the rest of the industrial world into its plan.

The first is a global agreement to isolate and debilitate Russia, expanding NATO to the Russia-Ukraine border. As Donald Trump declared on June 21, that is precisely what provoked the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

EDITOR—While most of the collective West’s leaders are tumbling from power, Vladimir Putin is undeniably stronger than ever, notes Garland Nixon jocularly, attributing such course of events to the dreaded “Zelensky curse”, afflicting all leaders that once vociferously proclaimed their desire to topple the president of Russia. Garland also analyses the horrific implications of Biden’s (America’s) imperialist adventurism, which leads inexorably to WW3 and the end of humanity.

ERIC ZUESSE—Perhaps the neoconservatives will say that this is Russian propaganda, or Chinese propaganda, or Iranian propaganda, or by some other country that neoconservatives hope to conquer, but they won’t be able to contest any of this by the numbers, because all of these numbers come from the U.S. Government itself. The actual propagandists are the neocons themselves, and they are funded by U.S. billionaires, who have been profiting from all of this.
