EDITORS—Jeffrey Sachs clarifies the motives behind the West’s deeply misguided assault on Russia via proxy Ukraine, and the consequences of the project’s inevitable defeat, as well as the growing warmongering noise for war on Iran. Sachs and the judge also discuss the rapidly changing political map in Europe, especially the rise of populist parties of the right and the left in Germany, France, etc., as a result of widespread deindustrialisation triggered by the US destruction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, a conduit which assured cheap quality gas for Europe. The new “populism” opposes the expansion of the Ukraine war. Meanwhile, Turkey and other major nations seek admission to BRICS (which already surpassed the G7 in GDP), while rejecting the US right to impose sanctions on any country trading with partners Washington disapproves of.

GABRIEL ROCKHILL—Once the war was over, Senior U.S. intelligence officials, including Dulles, Wisner and Carmel Offie, “worked to ensure that denazification only had a limited scope,” according to Frédéric Charpier: “Generals, senior officials, policemen, industrialists, lawyers, economists, diplomats, scholars and real war criminals were spared and put back in their positions.” The man in charge of the Marshall Plan in Germany, for instance, was a former adviser to Hermann Göring, the commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe (air force). Dulles drafted a list of high functionaries of the Nazi state to be protected and passed off as opponents to Hitler. The OSS-CIA proceeded to rebuild the administrative states in Germany and Italy with their anti-communist allies.

They say these wars are to protect the west and its values, while ruining the west and its values in order to protect their ability to manufacture consent for these wars. War, genocide and tyranny are the west’s real values.
