EDITOR—In-depth coverage of George Galloway’s shocking defeat in the general election, underscoring the immense difficulties for third party candidates of overcoming the existing duopolies, and the corrupting power of the mass media behind them. And don’t miss George’s devastating rebuttal of a Zionist’s charges of “racism” at a college debating union—they don’t come much better than that.

Caleb Maupin delivers the best explanation of the recent Labour victory in the UK, and the treasonous role played by this party and similar social democracy parties in history.
by Caleb Maupin4 minutes readCALEB MAUPIN—A magnificent informal lecture on the historical origins of the “social democracy” treachery, the watering down and misleading of revolutionary movements in every land they happen to arise, from antiquity—as exemplified by the defanging of a radical Christianity by the Romans—to the betrayals and defeats of contemporary revolutionary leaders and movements in our own world. The most recent example, notes, Caleb, just took place in Britain, and is symbolised in the victory of Keir Starmer, a fake leftist and shameless Zionist that will do nothing to improve the lot of Britons in the years to come.

MICHAEL ROBERTS—The UK has the widest regional disparities in wages in the whole of Europe. Indeed, people in north-east of England have an average standard of living less than half that of the average Londoner. Wealth is also unevenly spread across Great Britain. The South-East is the wealthiest of all regions with median household total wealth of £503,400, over twice the amount of wealth in households in the North of England.

EDITOR—The panel discusses the delicate situation engulfing the EU and the United States, where the anti-immigrant issue has gathered considerable momentum, presenting difficult problems (and opportunities) for the reigning oligarchy. It’s noteworthy, says Dust James, that in both the US (capital/imperial core) and Europe (the periphery, where a “labor aristocracy” developed) the capitalists are drifting toward fascism. In America, where the economy continues to worsen for the working class, and the immigration issue (exploited mercilessly by Trump), adds fuel to the flames, such situation could easily drive some sort of fascistic movement forward, even if Trump himself may not be fully aware (or concerned) about the chaotic consequences of his careless opportunism. Mass immigration is an issue with no easy answers, notes Billy Bob; socialists could arguably defend or oppose either side of the equation. There is no doubt, however, that lowly paid Americans—including many Latinos—are fiercely hostile to “illegal immigration”, since any mass influx of undocumented workers will inexorably depress wages.

EDITOR—Garland and Marouf discuss the latest developments in the Middle East, especially the way Israel may precipitate a major regional and possibly global conflagration with its planned attack on Lebanon. The situation does not look that promising for Israel, which has suffered heavy losses in its genocidal war against Palestinians, despite US/NATO support, as the Axis of Resistance (Lebanon/Hezbollah), Iraq militias, the Houthis, and Iran, will not accept defeat this time under any circumstances.
