DON HANK—We used to call people like this the ruling class. These high appointees understand what American values are, and today American values are standing by Israel even as it massacres thousands of children. These values surely have to do with the importance of Zionist donors to Joe Biden and universities, but they go beyond that to the makeup of the U.S. establishment. Pro-Israel voices — including Jewish Zionists — are a significant element of corporate culture. They are a generational force. Young progressives and young Jews are rejecting Israel. But they aren’t in the power structure.

EDITOR—The panel discusses the government attempts to shut down Scott Ritter, and the rapidly spreading decomposition of even the last veneer of democracy (and Constitutional protections) in the US. Some panelists opine that Ritter may have facilitated the US persecution by becoming too visible a player in international politics and media, especially Russian affairs, by traveling with controversial figures (like Chechnya’s leader R, Kadyrov), and by becoming too outspoken in his denunciation of US crimes. Other panelists think the US will find a pretext —or a law, like the Logan law—to put Ritter away or silenced him sufficiently to avoid damage to US policy and its supporting narrative. In the final analysis, as the Assange case shows, do not need to have any specific law to justify their actions. In the second part, dedicated to the cynical propaganda dedicated to demonise socialism, the panel discusses the concerted effort throughout the West, led by the Anglo-Americans, to depict the events at Tiananmen Square as a “massacre”, and the contributions of Russia and China to the world victory over fascism as minor and at best secondary to the effort made by the “Western allies”, all of this crude cultural and historical revisionism typified in films such as The Longest Day, The Guns of Navarone, Saving Pvt Ryan, etc.

BRUCE LERRO—Although Neoliberal Democrats, being upper middle class, have more control over their minds than working class dogmatists they can still reify their emotions, making them “rigid states” rather than processes that can be changed by cognitive changes in interpretations, explanations or assumptions. Neoliberal Democrats, like everyone else has a need for social connection, but as an upper-middle person they are surrounded by most people who are not like them. Yet they must find commonality with them became they want them to join the Democratic Party. Because they are more or less oblivious of the social class distinctions, they find ways to avoid talking about them. They are most emotionally sensitive to race relations, since most African-Americans and Latinos are not upper middle class.

RAMIN MAZAHERI—Mexicans are gearing up for a general election, with presidential hopefuls wrapping up their campaigns. But the election is clouded by political violence. There have been multiple attacks against candidates (more than 30 have been murdered by gangs) and their families in recent months. Our correspondent Ramin Mazaheri has more from Mexico.

EDITOR—Garland and Joti dissect the UK’s political system, noting that its basically “duopolist” arrangement (Tories vs Labour) is an almost exact mirror of the American system with its Democrat vs Republican duopoly, also an equally fraudulent system representing only the interests of ONE class, the globalist, warmongering billionaire oligarchy, and delivering, essentially a fake democracy running on a uniparty track. Anyone still thinking that Anglo-American democracy still exists as a viable system will get a rude awakening after watching this video.
