EDITORS—Her prosecutorial reign in California was a disgrace. Now Kamala Harris may bring her dubious talents to the top office in the nation, even though the job is all pomp and no substance, as all the big decisions are made elsewhere, in the true corridors of oligarchic power hidden from the public’s view.

KARL SANCHEZ—Most will have heard that POTUS Joe Biden has withdrawn as the D-Party POTUS candidate/nominee, but as the graphic suggests was he really “running the nation”, and what does that really entail anyway? General policy continuity has continued for over 40 years and will continue regardless Trump or Harris—even a Stein won’t be able to change much given the enormity of the task because Congress will still be hostile.

Le Pen’s pro-France, anti-war right got 50% of the people’s vote, crushing Neocon-neolib Macron and woke-WEF-anti-Yellow-Vest Mélenchon!
41 minutes readJEFF J. BROWN—The United States hasn’t had an honest election since George Washington. But, I mean, it’s built into the US Constitution just with each state having to be given the responsibility of conducting the elections. And of course, if the Democrats are in power, they’re going to make sure that they get reelected. And if it’s a Republican, they make sure they get reelected. And so all kinds of ballot stuffing stolen ballots, etc. And then of course, now with the United States almost exclusively electronic voting machines, all you have to do is control that little chip in the hard drive and you can predetermine the election.
And so there’s that problem. And the fact that again, Macron has had most of the votes in the legislature since 2022 makes it more difficult for the Right. What’s more disturbing in this situation for July 7th, the final round, is when the Right won the first round again handily beating the Left and Macron again came in third. He’s destroyed his movement. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t care about the people. And so Macron and Mélenchon got together and colluded.

ERIC ZUESSE—His answer was duplicitous. At 1:03:52 he had condemned “the neocon ideology, which is bankrupting our country” (which is true), then said, “That money is not being used for self-defense. That money is used for world domination and to make America the policeman of the world. NATO is the instrument of that. I am not going to abolish NATO.” So: he won’t abolish the instrument of America’s being the policeman of the world. Clearly, then, he’s not really against neoconservatism. But he continued there as-if it’s not so: “I’m going to change the function of NATO so that it becomes an instrument of peace.”

ERIC ZUESSE—In order for this switch to happen, the megadonors will first need to offer to the Biden family sufficient inducements in order to persuade them to persuade Joseph Biden to withdraw. If Biden won’t do that, then the individuals upon whose generosity he has been relying for legal protection and for a luxurious and honored post-Presidency, and for their support to the Biden family, will instead abandon them, as defective goods, for their ultimate disloyalty to them.
